How Casinos Work

I made a keynote presentation for a group of 5th graders that I spoke to about casinos, gambling and card counting last Friday. This is the vid after I added some music and sound fx.

  1. There are some interesting studies on how the lights and sounds trigger parts of the brain in people who are have a gambling addiction. Those lights and sounds trigger little endorphin and adrenaline bursts that have an effect on all human brains, some of which are more susceptible than others to becoming addicted to the experience.
